Wheelchairs not available in an emergency

My brother was referred by his doctor to go here in an emergency this past Wednesday. He had trouble breathing (sats of 63%) and was taken there by his son. There were NO wheelchairs available, and he had to walk with support, into the emergency room. He was pronounced dead BEFORE he was admitted. His inability to breath compromised his heart function. I am his sister, a RN of 50+ years and I think that the absence of a wheelchair hastened his death. I am very disappointed.
