Disgusting and Pathetic

Pathetic service from this Hospital. On the 15th of July around 5pm, I was picked up after i collapsed by an Ambulance and was taken to Karl Bremer Hospital. We arrived and they ran all the necessary test as per procedure. The problem only started when I was taken to the wards, they was no beds available that I understood coz it is a busy hospital. Fortunately, they was another bed that became available shortly after that. They changed the sheets and all that but forgot to check the mattress if it is clean and ready for use. They moved me from the stretcher to the bed, immediately I felt very cold. I just thought maybe it's becoz I'm in a new bed, let me wait a while. Little did I know that the mattress itself was sock wet already with human urine from the previous patient. ????????♂️ I started smelling funny, but I just ignored it since i was in hospital. After hours, I finally felt warm again after requesting extra blankets. Around 1am a nurse came to fetch me for Xrays. So I had to get off the bed to a wheelchair. Immediately the smell became even worse as my whole clothes were full of the dry urine smell and so as the sheet I was sleeping on, a huge yellow super smelling stain. Informed the nurse immediately, and she confirmed that the bed is still wet with urine. I got very disappointed and disgusted, the supervisor on duty was informed about the incident, in his voice he sounded very rude and suggested that I should be put in the waiting coz as long as I can speak, im not in critical condition. I will survive. Spent the rest of the morning sitting on the wheelchair, worse I could not seat at all due to the pain. Not even 1 apology was made or a follow up, was ignored until sunrise. This was my first time service at this Hospital. Government must really do something with these hospitals, people are being miss treated and have no where to run to.
