Billed for Services I NEVER Received

on 29 September 2021 i was in a car accident.

i went to Karl Bremer Hospital to see a doctor.

after waiting more than an hour in an empty waiting room, after not being seen by anyone, i left. i took the file they handed me.

a month later i received an invoice with the following:

coded diagnosis: R69 (diagnosis unknown)

specialist fee - 416

emergency facility - 219

i was never seen by a specialist. i never made use of their emergency services.

what kind of medical professional would have come to the conclusion of a diagnosis code R69? if i was seen to - they would have known i was in a car accident.

my invoice number is P***

i understand times are tough, but i actually think its ******* to bill someone for a service they didnt receive.
