Please avoid this business run by Karin Van Der Walt. She runs her business for her residential address 28 Culemborg street, Avondale, Parow, Cape Town. My company employed her to renew our business fleets licenses and settle all traffic fines. On introduction, Karin stated that all fines need to be settled first before she could renew the licenses. She gave us the fine print outs as well as the costs to renew 8 vehicles. The total was R17 212 and this was paid 29/1/2021. We also requested a letter from her company stating the timeline to settle fines and renew licenses and it was 2 weeks from payment being received. After 2 months of begging we finally received the licenses. However Karin has still not paid the fines. Amount being R10525.

We have now given her a deadline date to settle the fines. Her excuses range from. She has Covid, her PA stole the money, the fines have been paid and she will forward the proof, her PA deleted all her info off the PC, her PA stole her PC, she only has R300 for food and electricity. The lies never end. Today was the deadline and she said she would refund us the R10525. When I called at 11am she was in the bank doing the payment. When I called at 15h45 she was still in the bank as the ques were exceptionally long. She at 16h30 said she had done the refund from her Nedbank account and when she gets home she will send proof of payment. Funny thing is, she yesterday said her PC had been ****** and also why stand in the bank all day to do a payment when she could of done a eft??? Lie after Lie. Do not use. I see today she updated her fb profile picture to a Cross. We will be opening a ***** case against her and her business tomorrow morning and we will be dealing with my contacts at COCT. Hopefully Karin will never get the opportunity to register another license in Cape Town.
