****!!! LIES ON LIES...

I booked Karin to do hair and make up for our wedding. I booked during black Friday special last year for our wedding in October and paid in full. Closer to the wedding I tried booking a trial. The day before the trial I asked for an address and she sent a voice note saying she's ill and will have to move the trial. Booked again, then when I wanted to confirm she sent another voice note saying she's going for a covid test. Each time I contact her and she cancels, she has the excuse that she was on her way to let everyone know that she's ill/has covid. I asked her to please pay back my money as I wanted to book someone else. She then said she doesn't have the funds to pay me back and asked that I please give her a chance. I had to drive through on a Sunday (after she said she'll come to me due to the inconvenience) to go for my trial. Managed to do my trial and everything was good.

The Friday afternoon before our wedding, she called me and told me she's sick again and couldn't help me. She had already booked someone else to do our hair and makeup without consulting with me first. I had no idea who the other artist was and how her work is. (she has funds to pay for another artist but no funds for a refund)

The day of our wedding I couldn't get a hold of the other artists she booked. She was 1 hour and 30 minutes late. She was the only person doing hair and make up for 6 ladies. We ran so late that we couldn't capture the special moments with the photographer before the wedding.

Very unprofessional, wouldn't recommend Karin to anyone.
