Rapairs quotation cost reviews.

<div>On 2020/08/27 the following machinery were handed in at K'A'RCHER Klerksdorp for repairs quotaions: 1.Black& Decker preasure spraygun Job Card NO:0189 2.Facume cleaner Model NO:NT30/1 Serial NO:011391 3.WAP Serial NO: K7 85 103674 The following quotations were received: 1 -R1890-00which inlcuded R350-00 labour. 2 - R957-45 which included R 450-00 labour 3.R2008-65 which inluded R800-00 labour

When we visited them +-2 weeks later regarding the quotaions we told them that we are not financially in a position to do the repairs at that point of time and we wanted to take the three items untill such time as to when we would be able to meet the repairs costs. They gave us item number 1 but informed us that they will keep numbers 2 + 3 untill we will be ready to do the repairs to which we agreed. After some 6 weeks they phoned us to enquire as to when we will be ready to do the repairs when we informed them that due to domestic covit illness in the family and the loss of business during this time we are still not in a position to do the repairs and that we will rather come and collect the two intems but they still were willing to hang on but it was from this point when they started to claim the following: 1.R600-00 Quotation fees. R120-00 per month storage fees. In the meantime we were also informed that item 2 was repaired without our approval. We informed them that as we were not informed about the R600-00 quotation fees from the outset nor the storage fees we are not willing to pay these fees and to solve the matter we are willing to forfit item 3 in full settlement of item 2 repaired unauthorised which they refused and is claiming full settlement of amounts due to them in release of items 2 + 3.We informed them that should they have informed us about quotation fees and storage fees we would not have left the items with them.
