Rather pick up a poor guy off the street than give these people your money

Stay as far away from this company and their "pros" as possible.

If I could have given them zero stars, I would have.

I paid a deposit for burglar bars to be installed at my home on 13 July. I was informed that the job would take between 9 and 14 days to complete.

It is now exactly 5 months and 2 days later, and I still do not have all the bars installed, and I am likely to also have further expenses to repair the poor quality workmanship, damage to our walls and floors, and other problems with the work.

My problem with the "pro" started almost immediately, as they were late for our initial appointment to provide a quote, and arrived with only an old flyer on which he wrote down the measurements, instead of an actual notepad or book. I should have taken this as a red flag, but decided to proceed.

After the measurements were taken and deposit paid, it required two messages to request feedback on when the work will start, before they finally made an appointment to come, and promised me to be done within 14 days.

They missed the first appointment time by several hours, and I had to go to work. The second time they arrived half an hour late, and only worked for about three hours before rushing off, and after damaging the wall right on the front facade of our house by banging in a frame which was too large for the window it was fitted on. This has yet to be properly repaired.

After this there were several more missed appointments, after which I said I would no longer be taking days off work, and they would have to come finish the job on weekends.

On the very first weekend, they came and tried to install a doorframe which was clearly also too large for the frame, and I stopped them. They then said it would take them time to remanufacture several frames that were either too large or too small for the doors and windows they were supposed to be fitted on.

Multiple weekends later, I am stuck with *****ed and poorly painted bars all around my house, and damage to several walls. At least two of the doors have doors so ill-fitting that a child or skinny adult could easily slide under the bottom or over the top of the bars and gain access to the house. Despite the job not even being done, many of the bars have already started to rust.

They have also apparently never heard of drop sheets, since my newly installed vinyl floors are covered in burn marks almost everywhere they worked.

They proceeded to miss several more appointments, and my complaints to Kandua fell on deaf ears. I was told that I have to allow the "pro" to complete the job before they would do anything to assist me.

I agreed to these ridiculous expectations, and scheduled another appointment for today, while taking three more days off work. Yet again, their contractor has not shown up, and I am getting no joy from Kandua either.

I have not taken a total of 8 days of leave to accommodate these people, as well as sacrificing almost as many weekends with my family. The price to repair all the damage, along with the cost of having the job completed and walls repainted will probably match what I paid these "vetted professionals" to do the job.

Unfortunately I won't be able to recover the time wasted.

Tl;Dr - Don't ever give your money to this company. You are better off hiring people off the street to do the work. They will most likely do a better job and cost you less.
