Kandua - Vetted Professionals -What *******!

I have rated Kandua a 1 star - if it was possible I would rate them a 0. My husband and I used the Kandua site to hire a "vetted" professional to do carpentry and kitchen remodelling work for us. The Contractor started off promisingly, he came in took measurements etc. With about a week and a half left to complete the work, the Contractor is gone! He is unreachable on the cellphone number he has provided, there is always some excuse not to show up or do work and he has made off with a LARGE amount of money (which was his deposit and materials cost). It is absolutely sickening that some people think it is perfectly fine to swindle hard earned money from individuals that have saved up for home renovations.... All I am left with is 2 poorly made ******* carcasses that cannot be used, broken cornices, damaged ceilings, damaged walls, unusable cupboards, empty pockets. If Kandua is unable to provide surety on their vetted professionals and have traceable liability, they are basically promoting ********ity! Letting us allow ********s into our home to take money, make promises and vanish! Kandua should take down their site if they cant do what is promised - its blatant false advertising.

This late in the year, we would be lucky to recover something functional to make use of - Merry ****** Christmas to my family and I.
