@***, *** With all due respect. We have now terminated our relationship. The final straw was the fact that your sub-contractor came on to the property and stole from us (electrical cabling) in broad daylight, and the only reason he did that was to hold you ransom because you owed him payment for work done. We are now saying we no longer need your assistance to complete this project. We will complete the project ourselves and once it is completed we will pay you what is due to you. BUT this will only happen once we have received funds from the bank. Please take note of the following points below.

The reason we can not continue with you and your sub-contractors : You have broken our trust. You put my family's lives in danger. You don’t keep your deadlines this job started on the 17 of August 2020. The first payment was made on the 11 August 2020( R95 295.00), 5 months later you are requesting more funds. Poor and mismanagement of funds (funds we don’t have) Poor working relationship with your sub-contractor ( As we are aware that the roofing guys are also claiming you have not paid them.) So just to add up we have paid you the following :11 August 2020( R95 295.00) 23 September 2020 (R3600,00) this was paid due to you miscalculating the first quote. 23 September 2020 (13 581,25) this was paid due to you miscalculating the first quote. In total we have paid you R 112 476,25. And the project is still not done. Please note that this is not a discussion. Just facts.

@kandua - A project that was to have taken 6weeks has taken more than 5 months.

My Bank is only willing to pay out on completion including an electrical certificate of compliance and an engineer Certificate of Occupation along with relevant municipal authority sign off.

Please advise on a screened, vetted and profiled contractor who will be able to do the job and receive payment once approved from the bank with the necessary certification.

Any response will do, if no reply to this email, we will escalate to the NHBRC Ombud for further enquiry into our issue.
