Dishonorable Service Providers

My property rental agent used Kandua to find pool repair companies last year. One of the quotes was from AJ Pools. On the 25th of November 2020 they quoted ZAR 36000, for repairs to the pool. On December 1st, I paid a deposit of ZAR 18000. On February 4th, the agent reported that the work was still not complete and someone named Jacques said they could finish in two days as soon as the rain stopped. On the 11th of February they requested a further ZAR 9000, which I paid. It is now May and the yard looks like a disaster zone. The agent has advised that they are not responding to her or to the tenant. I have mailed them personally to ask of they intend to honour their arrangement with me and have had no response. Is this the calibre of service provider that you recommend to people?
