Deeply disappointed by Kandua

I recently enlisted the help of a carpenter recommended by Kandua.com for a kitchen renovation Job. I met with the gentleman and after what I initially thought was a fruitful discussion I was sent a quote for the job and I paid the upfront fee of 35+K that was requested. On further dealings with the gentleman, I found him inconsistent and unreliable. I cancelled the job and offered to pay for the materials that have been bought. The gentleman refuses to refund me. I am distraught and preparing to go into a legal battle. I regret using Kandua.
