BECAREFUL WHO YOU HIRE FROM KANDUA - GIVEN MULAUDZI TOOK MONEY AND RAN AWAY - JOB LEFT INCOMPLETE

I found a guy, Given Mulaudzi, via Kandua website. The service and workmanship I received was disgusting. Later I found that this guy uses 3 names - Gift, Given and Rendani. The Kandua website has good reviews for him and portrays him as a well experience good worker. He was supposed to do mould treatment and clean up the bathroom ceiling and repaint using correct materials. THE JOB WAS LEFT HALF FINISHED AND HE RAN AWAY AND REFUSED TO TAKE MY CALLS. He said he would not rob me and he said I should relax when I kept checking his work because he says knows the job and is experienced. He asked for extra R280 after showing me receipts and saying he needs taxi money over above his quote even though I paid 50% deposit as well. He took the deposit and extra money and didn't pitch for work the next day. When he came to quote and for the first day he was 2 and a half hours late!! He ignores you when you tell him about his bad punctuality. He never sticks to his times that he promises and only starts working after 1 pm. Today he arrived and I explained that the work he did is very untidy and the ceiling was not smooth, it had holes and sc**** marks on the undercoat he app**** and asked him to fix this before he paints and he wanted more money. When confronted he quietly took all his belongings and sneaked out of my house and refused to answer my calls later. He also keeps asking to use various items from you and doesn't come with proper equipment and materials like a ladder, cleaning materials, paint tray, turpentine. Definitely can not trust this guy to do a good job and quote properly. He doesn't know good quality workmanship. I am surprised at his previous reviews on the website. He does not wait for each coat to dry and rushes the job. I had to debate this with him alot as the packaging clearly states how long to leave to dry.
