Kameeldrift waterfront estate and resort

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent two-day stay at Kameeldrift waterfront estate and resort.

Upon arrival, I was genuinely happy with the ambiance and the initial impression of the property. However, my experience quickly deteriorated due to several issues that I encountered during my stay. Unfortunately, the hot water supply was inconsistent actually there was no hot water supply to my booked room( presidential suite)I only bathed with hot water on the evening that I arrived,the WiFi service was unreliable, and overall, I felt that the value for money did not meet the expectations set by the promotional materials.

I believe that the accommodation has significant potential to offer great experiences, but it seems that there has been a lack of investment in both the facilities and the staff. Upskilling your team and enhancing the amenities could greatly improve guests' experiences and ensure that they leave with positive memories.Your team was amazing in welcoming us that I must say.

As a result I ultimately decided to spend my day at another resort nearby, which further highlighted the discrepancies in service quality. I’d like to come back however with my experience I have second thoughts.

Given the circumstances,It would be fair that I formally request a refund for my stay,I happened to speak to 2 guys who said they were the owners but their attitude towards my complaint about my stay was rather taken lightly…I told them I was unhappy with the stay and no formal communication or response was given,it was a matter of thanks for bringing this to our attention. I asked them what exactly I had paid for for the 2 days because I bathed with cold water,had no tissue,no replenish of coffee and sugar no replacenent of towels either in the room nor was house keeping done,WiFi didn’t work either… I emailed the facility and no response till now. I gave one of the owners my details and he just took my number but hasn’t formally responded to my email. This booking was part of my birthday celebration but I didn’t enjoy my entire stay.
