no refund and no refund policy

I bought a bracelet for my wife and wanted to return it for a refund as she did not like it and they first declined the refund and then when said I should leave the bracelet there and they will send it away to be checked and then I can come back for a refund. If I was a travelling tourist , which most people at the Watefront are they should refund me withou any questions. Any jewelar are able to check if something is counterfit or not instantly. This is unacceptable
