What you pay and what you get is two different things.

What I paid for - I paid for 50 squares of cladding, and - Transport for 5 tons worth of cladding. - The price was good...Much lower than competitors...Maybe I should have been asking more questions at this stage...

What I got: - Short delivery of cladding. It didn't even cover 35 squares. The delivery was made in 4 loads by a little 750kg(max) bakkie. The cladding was dumped haphazarly, making it impossible to estimate the actual quantity delivered. Only once the cladding was installed, would we be able to see to what extent short delivery was made. - Upon bringing it to the owner of Kaleidorock, Shakir Dawood's, attention, I got a refusal, and excuses, and alluding to whether someone on my building site was most likely *****ing the stock. Which is absurd. Quantity and security camera's would ensure that this wasn't the case. - In my mind this level of short delivery is THEFT by the supplier. I told Shakir Dawood that if the short delivery was not make right, I would open a case at the police. - What I got then from Shakir over the telephone was abuse and swearing, and threats. - Eventually, I got him to deliver again. Once again, it was a short delivery. Upon asking him again to fix this, I got stories of a broken delivery vehicle. - Upon contemplation of what went wrong, it became apparent that 50 squares of cladding would weigh over 6 tons. A little half ton bakkie was never going to deliver this amount of stone in just 5 trips. Not nearly... - Eventually I just bought the required cladding from another company, whom delivered correctly first time.
