sold a blacklisted phone

I recently bought a Samsung galaxy S5 on [URL Removed] phone woked well for 3 weeks. from then on the phone wasn't working. I took it to Samsung to have it assessed, only to be told that the IME number has been blocked and the phone blacklisted. I have the proof of purchase and the box the phone came in, yet the phone is Blacklisted.
