Parcel on (indefinite) hold
I don't understand. I paid for my product. The amount was deducted from my bank account and transferred to [URL Removed] I have made numerous payments with this credit card to other suppliers without fault. But [URL Removed] has the audacity to hold my product under the pretense that you are awaiting payment confirmation. I sit and wait for the product like the idiot you most probably think I am, but luckily, out of curiosity and the loss of patients, I give the call center a buzz, only to find out that they have not verified MY card details. Firstly, when did you plan on doing this? Or were you first waiting for me to complain and then action something? Second, you are not my bank, you can't just assume that you can call someone and verify their details. Ever heard of privacy/ POPI/ etc.? Are you trying to upset your customers, is this a strategic goal? It isn't a surprise that Takealot has to absorb [URL Removed]

Upon investigating your query, we had contacted our finance group PAYU regarding the long verification process.
When a customer purchases on our profile using a credit card, our PAYU department goes through the verification process with the customers banking institute to ensure that the transaction is valid and that no ********** activity is occurring.
We do know that this process can be quite tiresome and can cause a few delays; however we only have our customers best interests at heart.
We have seen that your parcel is currently being packaged and will be shipped out to you shortly.
