Not following CPA requirements for returns

Order # ***. Returned a defective laptop bag that is less than 2 months old and has a lifetime warranty. Requested, in writing, as part of the return that the bag be replaced. Got a mail this morning saying that Kalahari has refunded me to my credit card (which is closed, because I moved banks). Now they say I must deal with my old bank to try to get my money back?? The CPA clearly states that *I* choose whether *I* want defective goods replaced, repaired or refunded if less than 6 months old. What gives Kalahari the right to ignore my instruction and then make the outcome my problem? I gave the instruction for a reason!!! Sort this out IMMEDIATELY.
