false advertising!
Hi All,<br> <br> Just a friendly warning .. I was new to ordering things online a few months ago, and not before long I was doing all my purchases through Kalahari. They always delivered with in a few days and I was very happy with the service I was receiving. <br> <br> One day I checked my bank statement and found that a strange amount came off my account (only R170).<br> I followed it up with Kalahari and they said that the amount comes from Parcel 2 (b***), which was buy one get one free. I paid the money for the two products and the money came off my account that day. then 3 weeks later this R170 came off and Kalahari says it is for this invoice number. I have phoned Kalahari once with regards to this and they were of no help, and have also sent them three emails and once again all I got told that it is for parcel (Parcel 2 b***), EVENE THOUGH THE INVOICE SAYS BUY ONE GET ONE FREE. the invoice and the amount which they took off my account doesn't correlate.<br> <br> I am terribly upset as I honestly thought that online shopping was making my life easier but clearly not.<br> I am sad to say that I will avoid making any purchases through Kalahari again:(<br> <br> <br> <br> Parcel 2 (b***
Thanks so much for your feedback.
We're so sorry for any troubles caused.
We tried calling you but was not able to reach you.
We've been informed that some banks reserve the money or send you the notification the day you purchase but only deduct the amount a few days later.
This could however be a similar case.
Please forward us a copy of your statement reflecting that both amounts of R170 was deducted. We'll send you a mail short and you welcome to respond to this mail including a copy of your statement.
We'll then forward it to our finance team to rectify, should a fault be found.
Thanks so much for your support and patience.
Please call should you need further assistance or information.
Trust you'll have a lovely day further!
Kind regards,
The kalahari.com Team
