Unhealthy food

Just noticed the ingredients on a pack of "Droewors" purchased at Checkers...and it includes MSG!! Why on earth would a company deliberately add MSG (Flavour enhancer) to a product like droewors? Why do you need to artificially enhance the flavour of this product, unless of course sub-standard ingredients are used (knowing MSG can cause side effects)?

Just boggles my mind, but luckily I got into a habit now of always reading the ingredients labels on whatever I buy and I have a choice what and where to buy. And luckily there are stores available no keeping NO MSG added products on their shelves...
