My Mom was taken to Kalafong in an ambulance on Wednesday. She arrived there at about 12H50 and was only seen by a Dr at 18H15. An X-Ray was done and confirmed that she has a broken bone on her leg. She was only admitted at 3am the following morning, having been in stretcher from the time she saw the doctor. Yesterday's night duty staff members only administered medication at 21H30 instead of 19H30. I am talking about someone who is in pain and awaiting operation. No doctor has seen her, except for the one who saw her on the day she arrived. Is this what our systems have come to?
