Kalafong Hospital ICU

With all the negative talk surrounding the Public Health Service in Gauteng, and indeed most of South Africa, the ICU teams at Kalafong Hospital in Atteridgeville deserve a five star rating. My daughter was in the ICU from 20 March 2023 until passing away on 15 April 2023 from a burst ulcer that turned septic. Despite poor cooperation from other sections of the hospital, such as waiting for 5 days for an MRI scan to be done after doctors had requested or ordered it, the Doctors and nursing staff in the ICU provided excellent care.
