Bad bad treatment of patients.

My family member was sent to Kalafong on 7 August 2024. Was admitted to Casualties. Phoned on 8 August to find out how she was but could no get straight answer. Visited her that afternoon and she was still in Casualties. No doctors came to see her and she waited for her bloods for days. Was placed in her room but no blood pressure and other observations were ever done. Security behaves like policemen and keep people in Casualyies locked up like animals. Manhandled patients and treats them like dirt. Facilities are atrocious and dilapidated. Mentally unfit patients are kept between sound minded patients. Nurses are rude and unprofessional and doctors are totally understaffed. It is truly unacceptable that poor people are treated like **** just because they can't afford medical aids. Patients of all creeds and colours are extremely dissatisfied and shocked by the way that they are treated. What a disgrace to say the least.
