Crying for help-UNRECOGNIZED POTENTIAL!

Lot of potential is lost in the villages across our municipality-Kagisano Molopo all because we are not recognized EXCEPT DURING THE VOTING TIMES. I have seen people,my community,young blood, dwelling in alcohol and drugs holding the matric certificates with bright results. Poverty has done the worst all because our villages Konke,Gamontshonyane,Tseoge,Tseng,Maheng,Setabeng,Voorstershoop etc are not recognized as the places.

We have no roads,no water in most villages,no resources (transports, complexes),electricity is always troubling us as the community of which some villages don't even have at all. We have no lights in the streets(Apollos nothing).

I remember being in a meeting in Vryburg in 2012 and I mentioned that I'm from Tseng Village in a registry form and the then councillor (won't mention her name)she scratched my village and wrote a village which is 35 km from home. I wrote my village again Tseng, she rubbed it for the second time. I had to stand up and tell everyone that Tseng exist because I exist and that they scold that particular woman from doing the thing she was doing- deleting Tseng-the village I love,that I was born in. The place I know better than any other.

The telephones and email addresses are never attended to, at the subdistrict when we want to enquire about things like bursaries and scholarships. I have taken it to my shoulders to help the youngsters who dream like I once had dreams(now working as the medical Dr), helping them apply to universities and colleges to persue their career, helping with the registration fees. Where I think the municipality is needed- no response at all. How can we get help? Should we leave our youth to perish?Should we leave the talents to go in vain?

Why do we have the municipality,is the question I always ask myself!
