My mom's debit order was returned and we received a notice that the cover has been suspended. We wanted to make an EFT payment but was advised that they do not accept debit order payments. We would need to rerun the debit order. We confirmed it and the debit order should have run yesterday, yet no transaction accurred. I phoned again and ws advised that the next run will only be on Wednesday. So, the account will remain suspended until the debit order is run and confirmed to have cleared.

This is hospital cover. It is really critical. We don't have these things just as a novelty / nice to have. We have it because our lives depend on it. If you land in a government hospital you will certainly not make it out of there.

It is unacceptable that we are unable to make an EFT payment and this is Kaelo's fault. Sure, the initial debit order failed, but now Kaelo is putting my mom's life at risk because of their unfair payment system.
