Kaelo health insurance is a ****

Kaelo health insurance is a ****. My sister Palesa joined this health insurance on 19/11/2019. She has never been admitted to any hospital for any medical procedure. She was involved in a very bad motor vehicle accident last night (13/07/2024). The ambulance service was told to take her to Netcare Hospital Alberton. They took her to Thelle Mogoerane Regional Hospital, where she was stabilized to be transferred. This morning we checked with the attending at Thelle, she confirmed she is stable for transfere. Guess what, Kaelo is refusing to give authorisation for her transfer bacause she was first brought to Thelle Mogoerane Regional Hospital. What nonsensical reason is to exclude and refuse a member medical treatment she desperately need, after having taken her money for 5 years. This is clearly a ****, employees of Dischem you are all in trouble with this medical health insurance. Monica Makume
