KANDUA IS A ****

KANDUA REFERRED A CONTRACTOR BY THE NAME OF GODKNOWS KANDIRA, CHEDGO CONSTRUCTIONS. I specified my needs, and emphasized that I would like to utilise one person to deal with my plumbing, electronics, tiling, painting, plastering etc. He came and saw me twice prior to taking on the work and assured me that he will supply all the services and ensure satisfaction. The first week he was at my house around 7.30 daily, The 2nd week he started coming after 10.00am. arrangement was that he purchase all the material and supply me with receipts, Labour costs arrangement separate. Within the week he started asking for more and more money. He would hold his head and scream in my yard that he has no money to pay the staff, to avoid him making a scene I would transfer money to him. EVENTUALLY I RECONCILED AND REALISED I HAD PAID HIM MORE THAT THE REQUIRED ARRANGED AMOUNT. I HAD TO, AS HE STARTED SENDING HIS STAFF TO MY HOUSE AFTER 7.00 PM IN THE NIGHT TELLING THEM THAT I HADNT PAID HIM. he following Monday he didnt turn up, I took the opportunity to reconcile his receipts, there was a few short, it did not balance with what I gave him for material, when he came in Tuesday, I queried this, he was starting to act Confused??? and said he will get back to me. He came the next day with receipts, some payments made, No proof of collection, and a few missing receipts, To date he hasn't supp**** me with the balance of receipts or returned the payments .Chedgo had problems with supplying Correct information for materials regarding plumbing, electrical ( electricians were here a whole day without doing much, due to Chedgo not supplying them with the necessary material as he arranged with them, he had been given money to purchase the material for the electrician). The plumber was here 3 days, and only fitted the toilet, walk in shower. CHEDGO BUILT THE WALLS OF MY BATHROIM *****ED When I pointed this out he said the house is *****ed therefore the walls had to be built that way. Chedgo purchased stuff that had to be continuously returned. There is piping lying in my yard that he said he will return. All this from the money I gave him for material. Chedgos work is so unprofessional and so visible to anyone that walks into that area. It's an embarrassment to me. GODKNOWS KANDIRA did not have any qualified staff, he would pick up peace workers off the streets and bring them , telling me they are professionals, he would leave them here alone and that's how I found out that some staff did not even have papers, or work permits. KANDUA SENT A SITE INSPECTOR TO CHECK GODKNOWS KANDIRAS WORK....HE WAS DISGUSTED, SAID I MUST NOT ALLOW CHEDGO BACK AND THAT KANDUA WILL RECTIFY THE PROBLEM AT THEIR COST AS IT WAS THEIR RESPONSIBILITY, BECAUSE THEY SENT THIS CONTRACTOR TO ME, I FELT A LITTLE BETTER, BUT THAT WAS SHORT LIVED AS KANDUA DID NOT DO ANYTHING, THEY CLAIMED IT WAS NOT THEIR FAULT IF THE CONTRACTOR MESSED UP, BUT IN DIFFERENT WORDS? THEY TAKE THE CREDIT BUT NOT THE RESPONSIBILITY THE SITE INSPECTOR WAS SHOCKED TO SEE *****ED WALLS, TILING UNEVEN, PAINTING WAS SUBSTANDARD WITH UNEVEN BUMPS OF CEMENT NOT SANDED DOWN...ALL KANDUA DID WAS ASK FOR PAYMENT PROOF SAYING THEY WILL TRY AND GET GODKNOWS TO REIMBURSE ME, BUT THAT WAS A LIE, THEY PROBABLY WANTED TO SEE IF I REALLY PAID HIM, ALL PROOF SENT TO THEM. THEY TAKE THE CREDIT FOR GOOD WORK , BUT ARE NOT READY TO ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR CONTRACTORS WHO MAKE A MESS UP WITH CLIENTS, THIS CONTRACTOR WAS A REAL ROGUE. HE STOLE OFF MY PROPERTY A MATTRESS, A BABY GRINDER AND RYOBI JIGSAW, THIS WAS WHE I HAD TO FETCH MY GRANDDAUGHTER FROM SCHOOL. GODKNOWS KANDIRA OWES ME IN THE REGION OF R30 000. I HAD TO GET ANITHER CONTRACTOR TO RESO THE WALLS AND REBUILD THE BATHROOM. HE INLY SIS 50% OF WHAT HE WAS CONTRACTED TO DO, BUT WAS PAID IN DULL, REASON BEING HE KEPT SAYING HE NEEDED MORE MATERIAL?????BUT KEPT FORGETTING THE RECEIPTS. I TRUSTED HIM, BECAUSE I THOUGHT KANDUA WAS A LIFIT, TRUSTWORTHY INSTITUTION...I WAS WRONG. THEY ARE DECEIPTFUL PEOPLE WGO GIVE A DAMN ABOUT SERVICE.
