JVC smart TV device uncertified

We purchased a JVC smart TV last year. Up until last week we were able to watch DSTV now and other programs. Beginning of the week, whenever wanting to watch dstv now, it tells us our device is uncertified. When contacting JVC, they RUDELY advised that they are not going to apply for the necessary licenses meaning we won’t be able to watch dstv now or any other google play app requesting certication. When asked what am I suppose to do with a TV I paid R6000 for and can’t use, they said I should take the TV back to game and request a refund. When contacting game they couldn’t give cer*****y that they would take the device back as nothing was technically/mechanically wrong with the TV. So what are we suppose to do now???
