JVC 50" TV broken after 1.5 years LT50N740Q

Feeling very irritated with JVC, 1.5 years ago we purchased a 50" JVC TV model LT50N740Q from Game. We thought it was a reputable brand, but things have definitely changed in the past years JVC. A few days ago it just randomly wouldn't switch on, even though the red standby light was shining. Phoned Game and was told that the warranty with JVC is only 1 Year..... how ridiculous! Samsung is 2years, LG 2 years.... clearly JVC doesn't have faith in their own products to warrant for a similar period as its competitors! JVC only expects their products to last 1 year!

I next contacted Fetch it Fix it for repairs since I had no warranty with JVC after only 1.5years! Fetch it Fix It diagnosed my TV as having its main board fail..... surprise surprise NO REPLACEMENT PART AVAILABLE..... if I wanted my JVC 1.5year old TV fixed I would then have to pay nearly R6000 to get a main board sent from CHINA!!!!!

JVC how could my EXPENSIVE 50" TV break after 1.5 year and not be reasonably covered under warranty?????

What a **** poor brand!!!!
