We purchased a 55 inch screen JVC TV 2 years ago for R13 999.00

Now thats a lot of money to spend but I wanted to spoil my husband. What a bad decision it turned out to be.

2 months ago the TV just stopped working, upon enquiry we took it to Samtech Electronics for repair. No feedback no word, after enquireis were made we were told that they had no parts in SA and would have to get from overseas. ..........8 weeks later and ripping our hair out we complained to the Cape TOwn branch manager who promised it would be sorted out promptly. Another week later I got a call to say they had managed to get a 2nd hand PC board and would use that to repair our TV. We paid R400 odd and got our tv back.

Its just stopped working again, 2 months later! JVC how can you take peoples hard earned money for a TV and then only have 2nd hand spares to repair them with? The service given to us by JVC is absolutley disgusting and I will never ever again purchase one of their products.

JVC shame on you, you should have replaced that TV it was only 2 years old. My advise to anyone wanting to buy a JVC TV, think twice, because if anything goes wrong its a nightmare to have it fixed.

I wait anxiously to find out their next move......
