I supp**** Just Trading with R144,000 worth of maize in July 2018, on a COD basis. To date (October 2019), after 15 months of frustrating e-mails and telephone calls, I am still owed R100,000.

We have agreed revised payment plans, put together by Justin Bransby (the MD) himself, but nothing is ever honoured as promised. I sincerely hope this can change in the future.

The company is clearly being run for the benefit of the directors and pays no regard to suppliers. It's cool for Justin to drive a smart new car worth far more than my own and then give their creditors a middle finger rather than paying their debts. Sell the frilly toy assets, drop the monthly instalments on these toy assets and use the excess as well as the instalments to settle your overdue debts.

As an example, brand new, expensive double-cab bakkies are not necessary to perform your duties, despite your view. They just rub your arrogance into the noses of your creditors. There are a lot more modest options available that are just as competent as a work tool to execute your tasks.

Justin - let's see if you can make ammends and fulfill some empty promises in your business career.

CAUTION: I would be very careful to supply this company and expect payment. I would furthermore be very cautious of buying their product. If they are as cunning with their customers as they are with their suppliers, are their customers truly getting the feed ration as it is labelled, or have corners been cut and fillers been used in the product? Difficult to say when integrity is questioned.
