Disgusted

<p>I went to the store in Springfield park on saturday morning. The staff were friendly a d helpful. I got to the till and was paying with a 100 rand note which i drew out pff am ATM the previous day only to be told that they cannot accept my note as the banks are returning the notes to the store. I was surprised as this was the first u heard of such an incident. I expressed my surprise and the manager then told me that they had sent their deposit to the bank via a cash collection agent and " a few 100 rand notes were returned". Management then deducted the amount from staff salaries. So now the cashiers were refusing to accept these notes. Mayb the cashier accepted a **** note previously? But is ot fair labour practice to hold staff accountable in this instance? I didnt see any note verifiers around!!!</p>
