Mistreatment Concerns of toddler at Just Juniors

This is the worst school you could consider in phoenix for your Toddler. I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the recent interactions we have experienced with the school, which have been shocking and distressing. As a parent, it is heart-breaking to witness such unprofessional and disorientated behaviour towards my 3-year-old child. my daughter, started her schooling journey at Just Juniors in January 2025. We had high hopes for her first educational experience, but unfortunately, the past three days (15 January to 17 January 2025) have been nothing short of disappointing nightmare. I am struggling to understand the type of educational standards this institution upholds when the treatment and professionalism displayed by the teachers are in question.

When we attended the open day on 24 November 2024, we met with Yugendree and discussed our concerns regarding my toddler’s potty training. We were assured that the school has caregivers to assist children when needed, and we were encouraged to send extra clothes and pull-ups. Unfortunately, the treatment we have witnessed since then has been far from what was promised. Here are the specific incidents that have caused significant distress: Change in Class and Teacher Assignment: On 15 January 2025, my husband received a call informing us that childs class would be changed from the Orange Group to the Green Group due to her slightspeech delay. While we were understanding of the decision, it raised concerns that were not adequately addressed throughout the day. My toddler was picked up at 12:55 pm with no additional information provided about her behaviour or interactions. Concerns Raised on 16 January 2025: On the morning of 16 January, we were approached by the receptionist, who asked if we had noticed a change in our childs behaviour. This surprised us, and I immediately requested a meeting with the teachers. However, no confirmation was provided until later in the day. During the meeting at 13:20, both the senior teacher and my toddlers current teachers serisha and arisha mentioned various concerns, including her inability to communicate effectively, her refusal to participate in activities, and disruptive behaviour such as running out of class. They also noted that child had been crying and required constant attention. I would appreciate if you could provide the requested camera footage and a copy of the signed note given to us. ( The video & note request was denied). Inappropriate Behaviour from Staff: On 17 January, my husband was approached by the husband of the school owner, who harshly advised him to take our child for a medical check-up due to her crying and rolling on the floor. This was an inappropriate and unnecessary interaction, and it left us feeling disrespected and appalled by the lack of empathy shown towards a 3-year-old child. In addition to the concerning behaviour, I have noted that my daughters lunch and snacks do not appear to be properly managed, as she consistently claims she is hungry when we pick her up, despite packing her with food. We were genuinely concerned about the way she has been treated over the past few days. We were not informed of any potential solutions, and it seems the staff lack the necessary skills to support young children through the transition process. I find it highly troubling that we have not been provided with adequate guidance or empathy from the teachers or management.

As parents, we cannot allow these accusations against our daughter to stand without seeking immediate professional assistance. We were advised that the school’s approach to transitioning young children is insufficient, and this has caused us great distress. We were advised by a proffessional medical doctor shes a perfect lil girl.

Given the seriousness of these concerns, I request the following:

Access to all video footage of the time she was in school which was denied. A full review of her school stationary and the toiletries that we provided (for which we paid R1400.00). My husband had to demand back and had to set an availability in the coming days to collect the requested items .

Parents please review schools before we enroll our lil kids to horrible organisations like this.
