Cancelling Just Gym membership is one hell of a mission...

My Contract with just gym came to an end and I went to the Randfontein branch to cancel it. I was told it is on auto-renewal and I should contact their call centre to cancel it, the call centre is forever "experiencing high call volumes" and they dont respond to emails sent to their customer service. Why have auto -renewal when you cannot have a functioning call centre. I dont understand why I should cancel my membership via a call centre whereas I joined at the branch, the branch should have access to the system and cancel the membership seamlessly. I think this is all just a ploy for them to keep debiting people's accounts for months. This has left a bad taste in my mouth. They even send smses acknowledging that they are sorry to have missed my call, the most logical thing to do then would be to get back to me asap. This is just unprofessional of them.
