Unsolicited cellphone ******ion

What on earth is this ******ion now to hit our cellphones?? This needs to be stopped by our consumer protection laws!!! I answered a phone call on my cellphone from number + ********** 1895. An automated voice said "hello, do you want to win.." I have no idea what the rest said as I cut the call and personally cannot stand spam calls. Straight after that a message popped up on my cell telling me I am now subscribed at R1 (or may have been R1.50) a day to this JUST FLICKS And I must press 1 on my cell phone to accept and 2 to opt out. I very quickly pressed 2 and received an sms from + ********** 2200 stating "you have declined the subscription to Just Flicks and will not be billed for the service." I went to Google to see what this Just Flicks is..And see this " USSD: 20c/20sec. R1.50/entry. All prices include VAT. Updates sent until cancelled. Errors billed. " If these people so much as deduct 1c off my cellphone account for what has just occurred there is going to be severe repercussions. Who on earth do they think they are making automated calls and then holding you ransom to having to send a message back to cancel a subscription you didn't even ask for!! Not to mention why should I have to now waste time pressing digits on my phone for an unsolicited phone call I did not request and did not appreciate. Where did they get my phone number from!!! This is ******* and anyone else that has experienced this needs to also please step forward and keep your sms and call history as evidence!!! Consumers reading this block that number immediately on your phone's! This needs to be brought to an abrupt halt by our protection of privacy Act and the likes..
