Think twice before you want to use JustAnswer

Be very careful if you want to use this website. They make it clear that there is a "One-time join fee of R66", which I selected for one question, which, by the way, the technician could not solve. He eventually just copied and pasted from what I saw on Google anyway, which did not work.

However, what was not clear to me and I was honestly not aware of, was that they then subscribed me to a monthly membership fee of R547, which was taken from my bank account immediately AS WELL AS the separate R66.

This seems like a deliberate way to deceive people. Why did I know about the R66 and not the R547? Of course, when I lodged a complaint, they responded that it was in their terms and conditions.

Fortunately I saw it on my bank statement, so I investigated and realised that it was a monthly subscription on top of it, so that I could cancel it in time.

They have all the cards, and there is no way that I can get my money back. I am sure that they regard it as a clever business model, while it is a dishonest, ********* business in my view.
