Purchase of Hell

Two months ago we decided to purchase a brand new Jurgens Penta needless to say untill today we dont have our new caravan. We traded rhe 2005 Jurgens Fleetline in which we had for 7 years and most memorable weekends and holidays. A penta was allocated to us but on site we saw the inside cupboards are not finished off and that was a surprise for a item that is R269 000.00 not small change. The penta is evething we wanted loved the interior its not to big and not to small. Immediately we refused and a new penta was given to us. On receiving ownership of it when we got home the caravan was disgusting. The vanity scratched roof inside had scratches. Mattress had a hole in, jockey wheelhad bits of rubber missing. The monday the caravan was returned but also funny that when we towed it it had a swing on while towing. Jurgens inspected the caravan oh van we replace the roof can we replace the door etc. what the hell do u buy a new car and a door is replaced or the dash. "NO" Did not focus on that issue much of the swing as we were so dissapointed with our first brand new purchase. After negotiations a new penta was given. Ok 3rd time lucky exactly what we wanted. On our way home the penta had a terrible swing when towing over 80km/h. The next day tested over a 100km empty loaded drop plate ondrop plate off etc tested with a completely different vehicle exactly the same. The monday we went to the dealer to express our concern. A appointment was made for the wednesday for testing and to see what the problem could be. They tried different stabilisers still the same so the dealer went with their vehicle and then what we feared for the penta was swinging so badly it hit the barriers jacked knived and written off. My husband had one hell of a shock lucky nobody got hurt and still alive. Surely Jurgens knew what happened as they guided them regarding tyre pressure. Until today no phone call from Jurgens to ask if we are ok and we know there was something wrong with the caravan. Of course nobody will admit it still they will make u feel there was something wrong with the towing vehicle. So kast week they towed another penta with our vehicle hundred persent no swing. So we got a little confidence back once again interior not finished. Now this week we got a call there is a new caravan that just arrived from Jurgens and again the cupboards are not finished off. I just want to know how much of emotional stress u have to go through to purchase your dream something that is supposed to be a memorable experience and a happy became total hell. jurgens i dont hope u expirt this quality overseas. U dont leave us with much to choose for. Maybe caravan no 5 will be the lucky one. This is our 2 months of hell the end of the month i have to pay for something i dont have or are not happy with. Thanks jurgens Ci for this experience.
