Juniour college Ottery the worse school in Capetown

I've never regretting sumthing this much as to sending my daughter to junior college Ottery..I was looking for a great school as any mother would wth her 1st born... I'm a secondary teacher to so I Knw that a good foundation of a child is fundamental... I also knew I wanted the best for my daughter... Saw the school in a newspaper article.. Marketing is extremely good... But the total opposite of what the school actually offers..... I enrolled my daughter in 2017.. Grade 1.....end of that year they said she needs to be in multigrade... And repeat grade 1...i was said.. But thought.. Ag it can only be fr the best... Placed in multi grade... But ddnt see any improvement.. Spoke to teachers and they said she will catch up. In grade 2 I started getting concern that she can't read.. They said it's normal.. She'll catch up.. They'll now add her to intervention classes.. That I'll hv to pay per subject... She than started intervention classes wth 3 subjects.. Than I saw sum improvement...than grade 3 my daughter than started becuming weaker again.. Mind u besides that, they frever getting my account in arrears it never adds up.. I always hv to fight wth them about paid up fees that the claim I ddnt pay. Instead of paying cash I decided to pay via eft... Than I'll hv clear prove... Even that ddnt stop them from saying I'm behind in payment.. I dnt Knw what WHT program they using fr fees but u always owe them cash.. Cash that they can't clearly explain why u owe... U never get to speak directly to the account.. Always 3rd party as she's always sick...but does accounts.. Than from that time till in grade 5 in 2023 my daughter still cannot read to save her life. They ask me to take her to a educational psychologist.. So I asked you diagnosed her to go see one and on which grounds...just so we Knw on which level she thinks.. Than I said I dnt hv medical aid & can't afford it.. Than there was sumthing wrong wth her eyes . No she can't see can't see properly on colour paper says the principal of the school.. I took her specsavers fr classes Dr says her eyes ain't to bad.. Than she couldn't see on colour paper.. Took her to eye surgeon.. He too found nothing wrong wth her eye sight.. Tested her reading letters on paper.. Sight is perfect.. Than again they brought up the educational psychologist story.. They're frever blaming the child.. That the child has a problem not them being a bad institution wth every year new bad teachers. Juniour college Ottery is really all about the money.. I remember there was a time during early stages at the school that they refuse to except my child bck up until I pay what I owe them. I was totally sat aback.. Went through all that drama.. And lost thousands in money as I paid them in 2023 R3480 per month yet they failed my daughter now in grade 5..fr the 2nd time since being at the school..at the. Beginning of 2023 I wanted to take her out and place her at another school.. As they were to busy to get bck to me wth the feedback on 2022 fees that they claimed again I owe but couldn't prove.. Than in jan 2023 I told the secretary.. I need a transfer as I'm taking my daughter out.. Suddenly the bursar speaker of the accountant has tym fr me.. I said I've been waiting bt u frever busy.. May I hv a transfer.. Than she told me it's bridge of contract as I ddnt say it before....had a whole up nd down wth fees I so called owe... Than finally gt a meeting wth the chief, principal and smt.. Was ask why I'm taking my daughter out I said.. Cz I've been asking to speak to bursar, bt since previous year she's to busy fr me... Than also I can't afford ur fees no more.. Was than told that my favourate intervention teacher is bck ND things will get better...i than left my daughter wth jc.. Worse decision.. Now they new I'll take my child out.. And they failed her.. And funny enough she's the only one who failed in the grade not enen her best friend in failed whose always and frever absent.. Only her.. They called me on to gv me the news.. Than blamed it on the tick off a button on the reports system that couldn't convert her mark to a pass.. I felt so insulted ND angry.. I just looked at them.. And said I Knw ur doing this cz my child's leaving.. They said obviously it's not.. I than signed the book where the teacher made a note they informed me of my child fail.. Than on top of that I'm than asked to write a letter stating I'm fine wth it... ND was informed.. This school really really deeply Depressed myself and child so much I can't even frgive myself fr keeping her there fr so long. Hoping fr the better.. But received nothing but utter lies and no quality in Education... On top of that I than refuse to pay them fr December cz they typed their contract incorrectly to me..them Not even having a copy of the contact.. Copied mine.. Than as usual saying I owe them more than I do.... Spoke to secretary than she had to connect me to acc lady whose apparently sick but in America... Telling me I owe them but has no prove.. Whilst I said I dnt cz I payed according to contract... Besides my child's failing.. Cut me sum ****...bck ahd forth.. Acc finally on speaker.. Claiming rudely I owe them fr October. & toiletries. Toiletries they use of learners in the teachers toilets.. Mind u we're in December already.. Luckily I brought prove, as I Knw them.. No but she stands on her grounds of lies.. Chief told sec to find mistake as I hv prove I paid in Oct. They went to class teacher she confirmed I dd bring toiletries. Than there was still an amount out standing they couldnt prove ND chief said OK just pay Dec fees... I said OK I'll pay 15 the Dec 2023..he than refused to gv the report card an transfer until I do so. , so as drive I thought to myself after all this pain ND years of hving my child there they can't trust me enough to gv my child info.. I than went to legal wise to deal wth them..but.. Couldn't hold on because ja 2024 ND my child can't stay out of a school... Than decided to pay them.. They than issued.. But really jc Ottery is the worse ever. They not a school but a money making scheme.. They shine on making kids shine whose naturally witty... ND refuse to struggle wth those whose not. What makes u a good teacher is to reach the kids who struggles ND make them love school.. Can't stop saying enough bad things about this so called school... We had to pay maintenance fee every March.. Maintenance fr what? My question too... Fr they're lights water.. Even tho they on borehole.... And other maintenance around the school.. Geez hv I wasted cash.... They're worse that the lotto...
