Building works at Bendor 70 Overkruin Heidelberg Gauteng.

<p>The Company whent into agreement to build the carport and do some improvements on my house in Heidelberg on January 2014. They gave me their reg with NHBRC 34152 and also stipulated on their quote that they provide of the best artisans and materiaal.</p> <p>The owner inteduced his brother who would supervise the building work etc.I never saw the builder during the building process just the brother.</p> <p>The building work was completed and the owner was paid for the work.It all appeared to be good and without defect. that i could see.</p> <p>My experience:-During the storm of 11 December 2016 in Heidelberg Gauteng the 1)carport was damaged. 2) The wall was cracked on the inside 3)The roof where leaking against the 3 walls. 4)The electrical connection was done and taped closed and open on some places.</p> <p>The builder was contacted to come and asses after the storm and he ensured me that the damage to the carport ,walls and roof was because of the storm.</p> <p>He infact issued me a letter confrming that.</p> <p>I was refered to the insurance.</p> <p>When i went into the roof to see where the water leaked from i saw the electrical connections.I contacted the contractor ,who came and fitted some block connecctor on the 23/01/2017and indicated to me that now it's legal.</p> <p>Now my worry is the insurance is accusing the builder and the builder is accusing the insurance and i am in the middel .and my house is still not repaired.</p> <p>The builder was paid good money and i feel that the builders should give good service.</p> <p>Currently they are building in PTA and Thabazimbi and will those people get value for money or are they awaiting a storm as well</p>
