COMPLAINT

Hi. I visited you Mthatha CBD (York Road) store. Where I encountered a very rude frontline staff. He bluntly said “Suphapha kaloku sisi” further to that statement he continued to say “Hamba futhi apha undiyeke ndenze umsebenzi wam ” which ment “Dont be forward and leave here and let me do my job”

When I entered the store he was on his mic which is connected to a speaker inviting customers to come in and see items that are in sale. As i was walking past the speaker which is placed right at the door I flinched because of how loud the volume was. Understandable so. I walk past him having saying nothing and he asked me a few meters away from me what my problem is. I knew that he was referring to my shock and I just said no man its rather loud. That is when he started insulting using words like suphapha. So I approach him trying to understand why he would say that and he rudely engaged with me. And everytime I speak he speaks on his mic. This was rather upsetting, being a customer and being rudely engaged and embarrassed by your staff member. One that is working front line. Instead of asking me how he can assist me he tells me to leave the store. Very disappointing

I asked for his name and tried to address him in a respectful manner. He told me that I wasn’t going to do anything with his name and that I should just leave. Making nasty remarks about how he doesn’t care who I am and where I work. Being told that “Ndiyaphapha” and being chased out of the store just for answering his question of why I flinched. He told me that he was doing his job, I answered that no one said he must not do his job and its good that he is doing it but why did he ask me a question if he was going to become so rude and insult me. Not only in-front of his fellow colleagues but also in the presence of other customers. Even worse that when I try to talk and understand what his issue is and what his problem is he would just speak over his mic. I really dont know that kind of people that are being employed in your company but that character and attitude is Deffinately not good for your image. I indeed left the store without what I went there for. A simple black belt. All of this for a R70 belt.
