Wedding Disaster

Its been over 3 years and still this venue brings up a bad memory of their bad service.Our wedding took place on 14 January 17 at Juante Estate and the reception and ceremony was held at this venue. We were very very disappointed in the service this venue provided.The reason why we wanted their venue was because of the Amazing service they provided back at a wedding we attended at their venue in 2013 but it was everything but the opposite of what I experienced then. There was 1 waiter attending to the needs of 120 people..The Quality of the event was a total disaster .The staff rocked up late, our guest had already arrived and the ceremony area wasn't even set up yet.The food wasn't ready on time and it delayed our programme and the decor in the hall was disastrous. The table cloths were dirty, un ironed and full of dirty marks. It looked like it was just taken out of a bag and thrown on the table. The floors were dirty and then the Cherry on the Cake the bathrooms were so dirty and reeking of pee.We were not happy about the setting of the hall and how the place looked. The Food was prepared so fast that some of my guest got raw chicken and the chops not even cooked soft. Having to pay that amount of money for an event that was so unorganised and unprofessional I think is ridiculous. The MC went into the kitchen and saw the staff packing away most of the leftover food which was said to us that we can have after the event. Their supervisor was so unprofessional and cheeky with my mother in-law when she wanted to ask her something. There were no juice glasses on the table and when it was time for the toast all the champagne glasses were filled with juice because that was the only glasses our guest could drink out of. If I had known you only provide champagne glasses on the tables I would’ve provided my own juice glasses. This was supposed to be the best day of our lives and I know that at weddings it’s never perfect and that there are things that goes wrong but I never imagined that the whole reception will be a disaster. I cannot get back my moment all because their staff couldn’t do what they were paid to do and clean the place up and make it look decent or cook the food properly.The decor at the reception looked like the cheapest poorest event I've ever attended and the colour scheme was Orange instead of Coral .Never in a million years did I think our special day would be such a disaster. I would never recommend their venue to anyone after my wedding day. I was and still am highly upset and disappointed. I sent the Events Coordinator an email on 17 January 2017 to complain about the bad service they provided and up till today has none of their staff given me an answer as to what they are going to do about this matter or even responded to my complaint. We seek full reimbur*****t for all the above mentioned issues and refuse to leave this matter as is.
