***********, *********, unreliable and poor service - J's Flooring and Blinds

I renovated my apartment around end of 2017 - part of the renovations were to have the flooring redone. I used a company called Mogul Kitchens owed by Louis, Louis mentioned that he knew a guy named Jaco who had a company that does flooring affordable. I agreed to meet the guy and the quote I received was great.

Installation happened 2017 November and there was a lot of chips and the floor was already lifting - I mentioned the errors to Jaco who said his contract was with Mogul Kitchens and not me, therefore I should raise the issue with them. I did that and they mentioned that they had some cash flow issues and therefore could not hold Jaco accountable as they still owed him half of the money, even though I had paid them in full.

Long story short, Louis has been settling the debt to Jaco over the year, in the interim Jaco refuses to fix the flooring until the payment is complete. A year later, the payment was finally complete and now Jaco is telling me that the warranty is done on the flooring so I need to purchase new flooring. When I arrived to the suppliers to purchase more laminate they advised that their flooring has a 5 year warranty - contrary to what Jaco says.

Anyway I purchased them, inform Jaco that I have the flooring - could he then just send someone to install it - at first he agrees. We set up almost five appointments to which none he attended too. I then contacted Louis from Mogul Kitchen to assist as he introduced me to this loser - and to this day I am no where. Jaco ignores my calls and whatsapp messages and Louis is my only access to him.

Don't ever ever use J's Flooring and Blinds for anything - Jaco is ***********, *********, unreliable and his work is beyond poor.
