JP Construction / JP Thatching Review

We used JP Construction (Marlise and Jason) to build our house in Betty's Bay. If you are considering using this company I would suggest getting previous build reviews before deciding. The property JP Construction built, defects after handover include, to name a few:

Water seaped through every window and door. The property has flooded twice.

Sand makes its way through spaces in all the doors,windows and unfinished ceilings and you literally need to shovel it out.

There is water coming through the walls inside the property and the paint is peeling off.

No hot water in certain areas of the property.

Exposed electrical wires where the electrical has not been completed.

The exterior paint has bubbled with the winter rain and washed off in places a month after the handover.

Incomplete or missing items such as built in braai components

Cracked windows

JP Construction has 6 months to address the defects, of which 3 months have gone by with little to no action while additional damage is being caused to the property.
