DO NOT BUY FROM HERE

My experience with Joy Furniture is as follows. Last year we ordered the furniture. The bedside tables eventually arrived and it was all down hill from there. First delivery: two tables arrive, one is in the wrong colour (overall not a bad experience but a frustrating one) we sent both tables back and they promised us new ones in the correct colour. Second delivery: the tables arrive scratched (I have a video of this, i unfortunately cannot attach it to Hello Peter reviews), spray painted, dirty, wobbly, the wood inside was the incorrect colour and the draws wouldn’t open fully. We sent them both back. This was in October 2023. I got so fed up with waiting for the new ones arrive and even feared that if the new ones did arrive, they would not be in good condition at all. All this lead me to ask for a refund. I have called Joy Furniture consistently since last year October. Every time they promised to pay the refund on the 7th or the 8th of the next month. Finally today, I call again to see if they transferred the money last week like they had promised only to find out that they have now decided to only refund me in monthly instalments. If this monthly refund plan had happened last year or even just been communicated to me from the start, I would have less of a problem but unfortunately they have been messing me around for months now. I wanted to come online and share my story so that others are not messed around like I have been. Everyone deserves great furniture and great customer service and I fear that this is not the place you would get either of those.
