On the 14th October 2014 ,I saw this website www.tryjouvence.com where they have skin products and for a free trial The products were a jouvence repair cream 30mls cost free ,shipping and handling fee was R70.00.The other product was a jouvence renewing eye cream cost free ,shipping and handling fee R68.00. The total was R138.00 .Then I entered my details online and my bank account and card number. The amount of R138 was then deducted from my account . I received those products few days after. the order. And was happy with everything. My nightmare started on the 17th November 2018 when a sum of R1024 .00 and another R1024 .00 separately deducted from my bank account . The total sum R2048.00 was deducted. I immediately emailed them at this email address support ********** to complain that I didn't order any products except the free trial that I paid for immediately the R138.00. On the 18th November 2018 I went to absa bank in Clearwater Mall as it opens on Sunday to reverse the amount deducted . At the bank I was told it was a purchase so my account was not debited so I cannot be able to reverse it and was advised on changing my card to get a new card number. And did exactly that . Then on the 19th November 2018 I emailed the company again on their support email,to find out when will they pay back the R2048.00 that was deducted from my account unfortunately I was referred to the terms and conditions. Then I cancelled the order immediately and I received by email proof that it has been cancelled. There terms and conditions yes I agreed to them and I was told I agreed to T's and C's and there was this clause that says within 14days after the trial purchase if you don't cancel you will be charged a full amount. So the amount of R2048.00 cannot be refunded .I really needed the money because I thought I paid the R138.00 and only if I order again will then be charged after the free trial . So I cannot be refunded even if I have cancelled the order. I'm unhappy about this because I didn't plan for such amount to be deducted worse a purchase I cannot reversed I'm requesting for help I can't lose so much it was for child fees.
