Unacceptable service
I bought my lounge suit from Russles East London on 6 Feb and was told that the warehouse closed at 12 therefore I would not be able to collect on that day due to the time constraints. This was not a problem as I work out of town so it was agreed that I could collect my goods on Saturday 13 Feb from the warehouse before 12.

I drove 30km to the warehouse to collect my lounge suit only to be told that they were conducting a stock count and I could not take delivery, even though I had confirmed with the store the day before that I could take delivery today.

Being an auditor I can understand stock count procedures, but what I cannot understand is that this was not communicated with me nor could anyone assist me in taking delivery today. My delivery would just not be counted or be a reconciling item, with a signed delivery note as proof of collection. Additionally this item would be regarded as good sold not yet collected so it should not even be on their stock listing.

The service is unacceptable.

They have a greed after many calls to both the branch and the the regional sales manager that my goods will be delivered free of charge on Monday 15 Feb.
