A staff member of the JD Group Russells store in Evaton West ran a credit check on my information without my knowledge and consent. I only came into the store to purchase a couch cash and was advised that my ID number is required to load the invoice. It's alarming that the store does not adhere to the POPIA act nor does the manager. I demand answers as I never got the feedback I am still waiting for.
