Terrible service saved by the branch manager.

On Sat 27th I was assisted by Matshidiso Moeketsi with a cash purchase of two 107CM base sets for my kids and a Defy washing machine at Russell's Chris Hani vosloorus . She never explained anything to me besides the different prices of the base sets. Upon finishing the transaction I asked when I will get my goods she said on Sat 27th latest Monday 29th, I will get a call and an sms, She will also call me, None of which happened. On Monday 29th when I called her to confirm delivery to my surprise she told me I will get them on the 30th.

I explained the predicament she put me in by promising me that sat or Monday definitely they will be delivered, I took an unpaid leave to receive the goods she showed no remorse for her error in not keeping me in the loop but was only concerned about me canceling her sale. I spent my money to go to the branch to which she showed no sympathy or emphaty for the situation she put me in.

I asked for the delivery to be changed so I can receive them today 29th being the day I took leave as I am available. Her response was"It is not possible askies " and if I want a refund I will need to bring a bank statement and wait 7 to 14 days for the refund. When I asked for the manager she non chalantly told me she will tell me the same thing they will not change company policy for me as a customer even if it was her error. When I got to the Branch manager Miss Ngcobo I forgot her first name she made 2 phone calls and then told me I will receive my goods today the 29th. I commend her for her leadership and swift problem solving skills.
