Russels ******** people of their hard earned money and not providing the promised services

On the 14th of January we went to Russels Promenade to purchase a Tv stand and a coffee table, we were told by the store assistant that the warehouse has both items and they will be delivered to us. Needless to say we had to wait for over a month for the delivery and when they finally decided to delvier, they brought us defective items...mind you they delivered one item at a time and we had to wait another 3 weeks for the other one which also came to us defective. Russels really does a mediocre job and we've had it with them. Called in their customer care line and also had to wait for 20+ minutes just to get a reference number for my complaints. "They are not allowed to give us head office's number (according to the consultant on the phone) " They are not allowed to give us the Area managers/Regional managers number "(according to the store assistant) "Both the Area manager and Regional manager are on leave and the one person in charge went out to the bathroom quickly". So many excuses and ups and downs and absolutely no one willing to help. It's been over 5 minutes now since the guy dropped tge call on me and I'm still sitting with no reference number. Shame on you Russels for taking people's money and then providing the poorest services I've ever experienced. You can go ahead and count me out as a future customer and everyone else that I know.
