I purchased a Univa 110L Deep freezer at Russell's in Gugulethu Mall. Delivery date was 11 December 2021, after 2 days I discovered that the freezer is not working and immediately informed the sales lady, she then told me she will send a complaint to the supplier. I had to phone the call center myself cause when I went to the store my paper work was laying there and no one logged in the complain. I got the reference number and the technician was sent out on the 04.01.2022.He discovered that the freezer had no gas and informed me that they gonna bring another freezer and take the one that is not working. The store manager contacted me a day after and she told me they don't have the freezer in the store she will look around and get back to me, she didn't phone me back. I sent a message to the sales lady just to remind the manager to phone me back. Sales lady told me they have the freezer in Wynberg store and they said I must go fetch it myself. On the sales order the delivery fee was included on the installment. Sad part is I had to throw half of my Christmas meat away because it went off. Till today no one came back to me and I'm still sitting with the freezer that is not working and they expect me to pay for something I didn't use. I'm very disappointed with their service. This is unacceptable.
